Diagnosis of Matrix Converter Based Wind Turbine Under Unbalanced Phase

摘要

Matrix converters have experienced remarkable technological development. This development is mainly due to progress in power electronics components; these types of converters can produce a three-phase network with variable amplitude and frequency. Diagnosis is of great interest in the industry in order to ensure optimal productivity and high operational reliability of electrical systems. The appearance of failures in a process encourages the implementation of monitoring systems capable of providing the state of the process or of these constituent bodies at any time. For this purpose, the matrix converter may be exposed to various control or power faults. These faults must be detected quickly in order to avoid the total destruction of the converter, which makes preventive diagnosis of this converter essential. This work is devoted to the study of an aspect of modeling and diagnosis of the matrix converter. This work is based on a fault detection method including the opening of a phase of the matrix converter supplying an RL load.
