摘要

The present work deals with combining in-situ measurement data recorded at three sites over the region of Hassi R’mel, and WindStation software based on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) approach, to analyze the effect of the topography on wind flow behaviour during spring season (2012) characterized by strong winds and sandstorms. To this end, three measurement stations have been installed at Hassi R’mel, Telghemt and Delaa at 25 m above ground level. The obtained results pointed out that the studied sites have a significant wind potential, and wind at Hassi R’mel site is deflected by 45° compared to Telghemt and Delaa sites. The energy produced during spring season varies from 342.06 to 3996.6 MWh for large-scale machines, 15.34 and 21.58 MWh for small-scale machines, between 142 and 186.47 MWh for mid-scale machines. The low cost of energy is occurred by the ENERCON E115 large-scale wind turbine with 26.6 DZD/kWh.
