Design, Control and Supervision of Photovoltaic-Diesel Power Plant in Isolated Grid

The production of electricity in the south of the country has so far been based mainly on diesel power plants with isolated grids. The management of the latter presents enormous constraints related to the delivery of fuel to the operating sites and the quality of energy to these isolated networks. The alternative solution of hybridization to photovoltaic energy of these diesel power plants installed in the south of the country was therefore recommended, given the existing solar potential. In this project simulation that shows that it can have a hybrid system that ensures a continuity of electricity production while minimizing certain constraints encountered in conventional or even economic electricity production systems and environmental, is not made. Indeed, a PV/Diesel hybrid prototype based on the data and electrical and climatic parameters of our region was realized in order to test and validate the electrical models of the different equipments, the approach being to adopt the models that best meet the specificity of southern Algeria and to make a projection on the diesel power plants to be hybridized.
