Electricity Consumption Rationalization for a Modular House via the Air Conditioning

In the building sector, the regulatory requirements are likely used in terms of thermal and energy. Exclusively, the architectural and design parameters are useful in the project, while the factor of energy is not always significantly considered. In practice, this results in uncomfortable and energy-consuming buildings. To this end, a thermal analysis of a modular house (solar house platform) is undertaken to have an idea of its thermo-energetic behavior in particular in terms of air conditioning. A comparative study is carried out between a vapor compression air conditioning system using solar thermal backup and an air conditioning system using conventional electricity. A further result is to evaluate the electrical rationalization provided by this type of hybrid air conditioning. In addition, a technical and economical study is done and offers an estimation of the recovery time (Pay Back Period, PBP) between the coastal and also Saharan regions and the carbon footprint.
