Enhanced Control Strategy of Stand-Alone DFIG-Based Wind Energy Conversion System
摘要
This paper discusses the application of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) for an isolated wind turbine (WT) without any additional source. The main objective is to supply a non-linear load with a constant voltage magnitude and frequency. For this purpose, the vector oriented control (VOC) has been suggested to the rotor side converter (RSC) for the regulation of the stator voltage magnitude. Furthermore, the remanent energy of the magnetic circuit and the additional capacitance of the stator are used to charge the DC link capacitor in start-up process. Indeed, the fuzzy logic concept is introduced to enhance the VOC control applied to the load side converter (LSC). The simulation results obtained with Matlab/Simulink software show satisfactory results. The stator voltage magnitude and frequency are well controlled.
