New Commitment-Based Client–Server Key Establishment Protocol
摘要
Key establishment is of utmost importance for information security. Key establishment is vital for encrypting the flow of information between client and server. In this paper, the core concept of commitment is utilized for key establishment. Core commitment exhibits binding and revealing properties. In synchronization with binding and revealing steps, the proposed protocol uses image components and it is very unique in its category. Both the parties, i.e. client and server equally contribute in the computation of session key. Implementation results with security analysis and advantages are discussed in order to validate the feasibility of the proposed method.
