Amazon Web Service IOT and Authentication of Edge Devices

Amazon Web Services (AWS) delivers a scalable cloud computing platform designed for high availability and dependability, providing the tools that enable us to run a wide range of applications. AWS security model helps in protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data. Security model of AWS successfully maintains the trust and confidence of the user. The approach for authenticating edge devices in Amazon Web Services provides resilient infrastructure that is designed for high security, without the capital outlay and operational overhead of a traditional data center. The current manuscript reviews the security mechanism used for authentication of edge devices in AWS Internet of Things (IoT).
