Saddle Key A Design term related to a key; a key of uniform width but has tapered thickness on one side where the magnitude of taper is usually 1:100; suitable for light load applications only as it tends to slip around the shaft, if used under heavy loads; classified into hollow saddle key and flat saddle key.
