Family Pachynomidae Stål, 1873

The fauna of the family Pachynomidae Stål, 1873 in the Middle East includes two species, Pachynomus lethierry Puton, 1874 and Pachynomus picipes (Klug, 1830); P. lethierry has been recorded from Iran. In addition to Iran, this family has been recorded from four other Middle Eastern countries, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, and Turkey.
