Family Gerridae Leach, 1815
摘要
The fauna of the family Gerridae Leach, 1815 in the Middle East includes 23 species in 10 genera, Onychotrechus Kirkaldy, 1903, Aquarius Schellenberg, 1800, Gerris Fabricius, 1794, Limnogonus Stål, 1868, Limnoporus Stål, 1868, Neogerris Matsumura, 1913, Halobates Eschscholtz, 1822, Heterobates Bianchi, 1896, Metrocoris Mayr, 1865 and Naboandelus Distant, 1910. Also, Iranian Gerridae comprises 16 species in six genera, of which, Gerris with nine recorded species is more diverse than the others. Additionally, the fauna of Iran is the most diverse among the Middle Eastern countries.
