Family Plataspidae Dallas, 1851
摘要
The fauna of the family Plataspidae Dallas, 1851 in the Middle East includes 13 species in the genus Coptosoma Laporte, 1833. Also, Iranian Plataspidae comprises only one species, Coptosoma scutellatum (Geoffroy, 1785). This family has been recorded from nine countries of the Middle East thus far: Turkey (seven species), Yemen (three species), Israel (two species), and Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria (one species).
