Pelvic Insufficiency Syndrome After Pelvic Radiation Encountered After Treatment of Gynaecological Malignancies
摘要
Pelvic insufficiency is widespread after pelvic radiotherapy for gynaecological cancers in postmenopausal women. Fractures occur most frequently in the sacrum and may also occur in the Iliac blade, acetabulum and femur. A dose–response relationship has been noted with D50% of sacrum in women aged >50 years.
