Radiation Induced Liver Disease in Patients Receiving Radiation for Hepatobilliary Cancer

Radiation Induced Liver Disease is injury to hepatocytes due to excess radiation dose to the liver. Although its incidence is decreasing because of better awareness of liver tolerance, improved experience, and evolution of modern radiotherapy techniques, it remains a dreaded complication with limited treatment options.
