There is a varied list of possible complications during surgeries for carcinoma prostate. Surgeon should be well acquainted with the pelvic anatomy. A careful selection of the patient is the key with a special focus on age, estimated life span, carcinoma extent, urinary symptoms and comorbidities. Treatment should be tailor made as per the cancer extent and the patient demographic features.
