Complications of Surgery for Urinary Bladder Cancer

Surgeries for urinary bladder cancer form an important proportion of the surgical oncology unit work. Varied routes of surgical interventions are possible in bladder including endoscopic, open surgical approach, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. This also means a possibility of a spectrum of complications arising due to surgeries, which are discussed here.
