Glandular Urethral Disassembly (GUD) Technique
摘要
Glandular Urethral Disassembly (GUD) technique has been previously described and consists of a combination of two well-established maneuvers: minimal urethral mobilization and glandular disassembly from the corpora cavernosa as performed in the treatment of epispadias (Macedo et al. J Pediatr Urol. 16(3):401–3, 2020; Macedo et al. Int Braz J Urol. 46(6):1072–4, 2020; Macedo et al. J Pediatr Urol. 17(5):690.e1–6, 2020). It has the advantage of being versatile enough to treat primary and redo distal hypospadias. We acknowledge that this technique should be limited for coronal and subcoronal subtypes, with the urethral meatus no longer than 1 cm from the coronal area.
