Harvest of Tunica Vaginalis Flap for Second Coverage of Urethroplasty
摘要
To prevent surgical complications, most notably fistula formation, surgeons typically use a neourethral dartos flap covering. The neourethra requires an intermediary layer for optimal functional and aesthetic results. We here show the key steps to harvest and fix the tunica vaginalis flap (TVF) which is considered a viable other option particularly in proximal hypospadias variants and redo procedures.
