Ergonomics of Hypospadias Surgery

During hypospadias surgery, increased technical complexity and sometimes inadequately adapted instruments have contributed to a rise in the incidence of complications and the distress of surgeon fatigue. Ergonomic integration and the proper instruments and operating asset environment for hypospadias surgery are essential for enhancing the efficiency, safety, and comfort of the operating team. This chapter discusses the primary ergonomic pillars of hypospadias surgery.
