摘要

In recent years, several imaging methods have been developed for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of glioma, such as diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS), magnetic resonance perfusion imaging (PWI), and positron emission computed tomography (PET-CT) or PET-MR. Although these new methods are valuable, conventional imaging remains the most important technique. The fundamental imaging characteristics of glioma, including its origin, growth, infiltration of tumor cells, pathophysiological features, and response to treatment, are determined by these factors, and conventional imaging can provide important information for their assessment.
