摘要

During the epidemic, children and adolescents showed an increasing trend in myopia rates due to home study and internet classes, reduced outdoor activities and a significant increase in the use of electronic devices. In June 2020, the Ministry of Education conducted a vision survey of 14,532 primary and secondary school students in nine provinces across China. It shows that compared to the data at the end of 2019, the myopia rate increased by 15.2% for primary school students, 8.2% for junior high school students and 3.8% for senior high school students. With an average increase of 11.7%, the situation of myopia prevention and control is not optimistic.
