A Clinically Effective Way to Control the Myopia Progression (III): Low-Dose Atropine Eye Drops
摘要
Atropine is an anticholinergic agent as an M-receptor blocker. It is a racemic scopolamine extracted from nightshade plants such as belladonna, datura or scopolamine. Its alkaline salt is a colorless crystal or white powder, which is easily soluble in water. Atropine is not only used in ophthalmology but also widely applicated in other clinical conditions.
