Clinically Effective Ways to Control the Progression of Myopia (I): Wearing Orthokeratology
摘要
Orthokeratology can control effectively the eye axial growth among myopic children and adolescents, thereby delaying myopia progression, which a number of clinical studies can demonstrate. But the effectiveness of myopia control is still influenced by many factors, such as refraction, corneal morphology and age. Although the mechanism of myopia control is unclear, in terms of clinical demand and effectiveness, wearing orthokeratology lens is a safe way to prevent and control myopia with strict control of indications, standardized prescriptions and regular follow-ups.
