摘要

The sclera is the outermost tissue of the eyeball wall, which is dense, fibrous, viscoelastic, tough tissue. The thickness and biological characteristics will directly affect the shape and axial length of the eyeball. Myopia development is associated with sclera remodeling and thinning, as well as other changes in biomechanical properties. Sclera tissue is responsible for myopia. So, why does sclera tissue change?
