The Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Employee Engagement and Intention to Quit: A Survey of Small and Medium Enterprises in Hanoi

The study was conducted to test the relationship between corporate social responsibility and employee engagement and intention to quit at small and medium-sized enterprises in Hanoi. In addition, the study also explores the mediating role of work motivation in the relationship between CSR and employee engagement and intention to quit. The study uses primary data from survey results, with 216 valid questionnaires. The research uses SEM structural model, data processing through SPSS and AMOS software. Research results show that CSR has an impact on employees’ work motivation, engagement, and intention to quit. At the same time, research also shows the mediating role of work motivation. Management implications and future research directions are also discussed.
