Any technical project can be justified only if we can quantify the input and outputs. The information is required to enable us plan the various types and quantity of input materials required, size of the plant, output energy and by products that we can get from the process, thereby know what size and type of loads we can cater to. Standards are available that provide information about the energy content of each type of waste material. Having computed the quantity of energy, we can compute the cost of the project, process, energy and thereby the financial, technical, social and environmental benefits.

摘要

Any technical project can be justified only if we can quantify the input and outputs. The information is required to enable us plan the various types and quantity of input materials required, size of the plant, output energy and by products that we can get from the process, thereby know what size and type of loads we can cater to. Standards are available that provide information about the energy content of each type of waste material. Having computed the quantity of energy, we can compute the cost of the project, process, energy and thereby the financial, technical, social and environmental benefits.
