摘要

Islanding detection is crucial in a microgrid environment for safety and easy operation. Islanding should occur within 2 s after the main utility grid stops supplying the load. The proposed work present, detection of islanding event using a ratio of multiplication of negative and positive sequence current and voltage (RMNPSCV). The developed method is tested with diverse islanding situations such as active, zero, and reactive power mismatch, DG disconnection, and different non-islanding scenarios such as various faults (LLLG, LLG, LG) and capacitor and inductor switching. The Matlab/Simulink 2019a software designs and develops the suggested method.
