The design of career websites plays a crucial role in the modern job market, as it is the primary interface between job seekers and employers. This study aims to investigate the design elements that contribute to a positive user experience on career websites, with a focus on enhancing job seeker engagement and conversion rates. This study also identified several best practices for designing effective career websites, including the use of clear and concise language, the provision of detailed job descriptions, and the use of interactive features such as job search functionality and application forms. Additionally, the study found that the design of career websites should be tailored to the target audience and their needs, and that the use of technology can enhance the user experience and job seeker engagement. Navigation must have clear horizontal bars and consistent categories; duplicate at the bottom for easy access. Use modern vertical menus with hamburger icons. Utilize a variety of graphics with a consistent style, including high-quality images. Organize content into sections with clear titles, white color blocks, and images. Provide structured sections with headings, subheadings, and collapsible sections. Ensure well-organized content with bold titles, descriptions, and call-to-action buttons. Focus on offering useful information to job seekers and engaging them with benefits and interactive features. Attract potential employees with valuable growth opportunities.
