摘要

This chapter highlights issues related to research ethics in psychology. In practice, researchers in psychology face an array of ethical requirements. Simultaneously, they must meet professional, institutional, and state standards for conducting research with human participants, teaching and supervising students, and authorship issues in publication. This chapter will explore five themes related to research ethics in psychology such as intellectual property, consciousness with multiple roles, informed consent rules, respect for confidentiality and privacy, and how researchers can avoid and resolve ethical dilemmas.
