With the increasing maturity of microfluidic technology, the cross fusion of microfluidic chip technology and optofluidics methods in microstructured fibers has gradually formed a new development direction. This chapter focuses on how to use the special structure of microfluidic fiber to construct a microfluidic detection laboratory inside them. Through the structural design and micro-processing of the fiber, the optical waveguide and microfluidic material detection are combined. Several high-sensitivity optical fiber microfluidic sensing systems based on different microstructures and detection principles are introduced, providing a systematic overview of fiber-based microfluidic sensing and detection methods.
