Role of Aerosols in Climate Change
摘要
Aerosols are tiny particles suspended in the atmosphere with a size range from 0.001 to 10 μm. They can be natural or human-made, and they come in a variety of sizes and compositions. Some common types of aerosols include dust, smoke, soot, sea salt, and sulfates. Aerosols play an important role in climate change by affecting the Earth’s energy budget. They can reflect or absorb incoming sunlight, and they can also affect cloud formation and precipitation.
