The author and 15 children produce participatory action research (PAR) going beyond mere academic research to empower an effective role in improving their immediate environment. In this chapter, action design, implementation, and evaluation are explained as outcomes of intertwined research in offline and online spaces in the task of community building toward environmental action The author also delineates the delicate process of building action research by connecting new formations and meanings of community while propelling them to respond to and change environmental living and lifestyles.
