Shenyang: One of China’s Major Industrial Hubs with Strategic Positioning and Regional Influence
摘要
Northeastern Chinese city Shenyang is revealed to be a place rich in both historical significance and modern relevance (Liu et al., 2014). Shenyang, whose roots date back more than two millennia, has developed from a sleepy village to a thriving metropolis (Fan & Dai, 2019). As the provincial capital of Liaoning, it enjoys a key position as the region’s industrial, cultural, and economic center (Sun & Ikebe, 2023). As the first capital of the Qing Dynasty before Beijing was founded, Shenyang was historically important (Liu et al., 2014; Sepe, 2011; Wang & Li, 2013; Wang et al., 2013; Zhang et al., 2023).
