摘要

Situated on China’s eastern coast, Qingdao is a city with a rich and diverse history spanning more than a century (Han & Yan, 1999). Situated on the Yellow Sea coast, Qingdao has experienced a significant metamorphosis from its inception as a German concession in the late 1800s to emerge as one of China’s most vibrant coastal cities (Chung, 1999). Due to its advantageous location, Qingdao has long been recognized as an important seaport and the provincial economic center of Shandong, promoting both local and foreign trade.
