摘要

Northwest China’s Xi’an is evidence of China’s continuing cultural development and rich historical values and characteristics. Nestled in the fertile Wei River Valley and surrounded by the Qinling Mountains, this ancient city has a rich history spanning over 3,000 years (Naquin, 2022). It offers a unique combination of modern vibrancy and historical depth. Xi’an, also known as Chang’an in antiquity, was a key hub along the Silk Road, enabling extensive cultural and commercial exchanges between the East and the West. It also served as the capital for several powerful dynasties, including the Qin and Tang.
