Designing Experiments for Economics Teaching
摘要
This chapter presents a rigorous experimental design to investigate the impact of deliberate metaphors (DMs) in economics lectures. Through two rounds of teaching experiments, the chapter explores how DMs enhance students’ understanding and engagement. The experiments meticulously control variables to isolate the effects of DMs, ensuring a comprehensive analysis of their pedagogical potential. Insights from these experiments offer valuable guidance for educators looking to incorporate DMs into their economics teaching practices.
