Research on the Test Technology of Gust Load Alleviation in Large Low-Speed Wind Tunnel

Aiming at the serious load problem of large civil aircraft caused by gust disturbance, a high capability gust generator and model support device are developed. Taking a full scale model of an elastic civil aircraft as the research object, the control strategy of wing tip load feedback driving the deflection of the auxiliary wing to slow down the load and vibration of the model is adopted, then the wind tunnel test of gust load alleviation is carried out. The test results show that the FL-10 wind tunnel gust load alleviation test system has stable function, high generator index, large motion range of the designed model support device, and can completely release the plunge and pitch motion of the model. The load alleviation control strategy is effective, and the maximum alleviation amount reaches 50%.
