Experimental Study of Rotor Blade Icing Under External Icing Conditions with Different Parameters
摘要
This article takes advantage of the superior outdoor conditions in Harbin during winter to develop a quadrotor test rig and conducts rotor icing tests in a mobile ice wind tunnel. The study investigates the impact of different temperatures and icing times on the formation patterns of ice on the rotor surface. It is found that the lower the test temperature, the greater the icing area on the rotor surface, and the higher the ice layer is from the leading edge stagnation point. When the temperature is in clear icing conditions, there is only a horn-shaped ice 50 mm away from the rotor tip, while no horn-shaped ice is formed near the root of the blade. The influence of different icing times on the formation patterns of ice on the rotor surface is minimal. The results of the study can provide a certain reference for the simulation calculations of rotor icing.
