Informal Economies and South–South Migration: Towards a New Research Agenda
摘要
The relationship between South–South migration and informal economic activity merits further scrutiny. This chapter explores this relationship by examining the political and economic realities of South–South migration, highlighting how it is characterised by, in crucial ways, a fundamental lack of political and economic rights. It then outlines a research agenda that is centred on this reality and could have the potential to encourage greater forms of inclusion.
