Practical Approaches to Social Work for Child Poverty Alleviation
摘要
The theoretical framework discussed in Chapter 2 provides a foundational understanding and action logic for the practical implementation of social work for child poverty alleviation. It offers theoretical guidance for the specific actions taken during the practice. The theoretical framework assists social workers in comprehending the needs of impoverished children, explaining possible reasons for the emergence of issues related to impoverished children, and providing ideas about social work involvement in child poverty alleviation or specific strategies for developing service plans. Undoubtedly, with different theoretical frameworks, the practical models of social work for child poverty alleviation also differ. Contextual elements such as culture and systems, social workers’ knowledge base and practical experience, and the circumstances of impoverished children and their families all influence the social workers’ choice of theoretical framework.
