The life challenges faced by individuals in deep poverty are multifaceted, spanning all areas of life with layers of complexity. These issues are interwoven, making it challenging to separate them. Thus, social work aimed at tackling deep poverty requires an approach that integrates services across dimensions. This approach must not only address the high risk of recidivism into poverty faced in daily life but also focus on leveraging the individuals’ inherent strengths and the resources available in their surroundings.
