A Review of Research on Vehicle CAN Network Intrusion Detection via Artificial Intelligence

With the rapid development of Internet of Vehicles technology, cars are gradually becoming intelligent and interconnected terminal equipment. However, the security of Internet of Vehicles systems has always attracted much attention, especially the detection and prevention of vehicle intrusion. Artificial intelligence-based intrusion detection technology has significant advantages in pattern recognition, data analysis, and anomaly detection. In addition, the research on artificial intelligence intrusion detection in the Internet of Vehicles was systematically reviewed and summarized, aiming to provide reference and inspiration for Internet of Vehicles security. The main work is as follows: First, statistics are collected from papers related to vehicle intrusion detection in recent years; second, the artificial intelligence methods used in intrusion detection are classified and summarized; and finally, the possible development directions of future intrusion detection are analyzed.
