Research and Application Status of a Tendency-Based Gas Source Localization Strategy via the Active Olfaction Method: A Review
摘要
The leakage and diffusion of chemical gases pose a serious threat to humans. Rapid and accurate localization of gas sources is currently a research hotspot. On the basis of different tendencies, robot active olfactory localization strategies can be divided into three types: chemical, wind, and information tendencies. The research background and current status of gas source localization are first introduced. Second, the main improvement directions of the three strategies, along with their representative contents, are summarized and compared. The application and existing problems of the gas source localization method, which is based on a tendency strategy, are analyzed in various scenarios with different gas environments, obstacles, and time-varying sources. Finally, future development trends of gas source localization strategies are discussed and compared, providing a reference for further research on gas source localization issues. In this review, the technical bottlenecks and challenges in the gas source localization field are analyzed in depth, which provides a reference for future research and innovation.
