Deoxidation was an important technology for the production of clean steels, which had a great influence on inclusions in the steel and on the microstructure and performances of the steel product. Most of indigenous inclusions were generated during the deoxidation of the molten steel. The deoxidation equilibrium of single deoxidizer in liquid pure iron was summarized in the current study, including Al-O, Mg-O, Ti-O, Ca-O, Si-O, Mn-O, Cr-O, Zr-O, La-O, Ce-O, Nd-O, Ba-O, B-O, Y-O, Hf-O, V-O, Ta-O, and Nb-O.
