Multidrugs Resistance: Concepts, Mechanisms, and Recent Advances
摘要
In the current scenario, bacterial infections are most common and affect different organs of humans. Antibiotics have been used to inhibit bacterial infections to save many lives. The extensive use of antibiotics can cause antibiotic resistance. Recently, extensive research and approaches have been developed to combat the antibiotic resistance of bacteria. There are many drug delivery strategies and materials having antimicrobial potentials that are now emerging methodologies. The nano-based targeted drug delivery of antibiotics gives a big scope to decrease the resistance of bacteria. This chapter emphasizes the recent progress and advancement of different approaches to inhibit multidrug-resistant bacteria and recapitulate the modern antimicrobial materials and drug delivery systems.
