The Experimental Evidence of Quantum Mechanics
摘要
The experimental evidence that led to the formulation of quantum mechanics is reviewed. Starting from the blackbody problem and the introduction of the concept of energy quanta the photoelectric effect, the Bohr-Rutherford model of the atoms and the Compton effect are discussed. The de Broglie relations for the description of matter as waves are introduced. The Heisenberg uncertainty principle is presented.
