Particle Motion in Electric and Magnetic Fields
摘要
In this chapter we investigate the orbits of particles in assigned electric and magnetic fields. The secular drifts associated with nonhomogeneous magnetic fields are classified. The particle orbits for a tokamak configuration are analyzed. The implication on particle confinement is discussed.
