Latest Advances in Interventional Radiology

Interventional radiology (IR) has undergone exponential advance in recent years, transforming the way several diseases are treated and offering innovative solutions to problems. New breakthrough technologies hold the promise of improving patient outcomes and expanding the scope of interventional radiology. This chapter briefly deals with several of these new advances such as embolization, stem cell therapy, artificial intelligence and robotics in interventional radiology.
