Percutaneous Intravascular Foreign Body Retrieval
摘要
The rapid rise in endovascular procedures (mainly in dialysis-dependent and oncology patients) is causing a rise in the incidence of lost intravascular foreign body (IvFB). IvFBs pose a significant challenge, necessitating precise and effective removal to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. This chapter explores the various techniques that can be employed for the identification of its location and removal of IvFB from the vascular system.
