摘要

Interventional radiology plays a critical role in the management of various gastrointestinal (GI) conditions. This chapter focuses on the principles, techniques, and clinical applications of non-vascular interventions in the GI tract, emphasizing their minimally invasive nature and efficacy in patient care. Key procedures discussed include percutaneous gastrostomy, esophageal stenting, and other image-guided interventions used to manage obstructions, leaks, and other pathological conditions of the GI system. The chapter highlights the indications, contraindications, and procedural steps for these interventions, as well as complications and outcomes based on current clinical evidence. It also explores advances in stent technology and radiological imaging, which have significantly improved the safety and efficacy of these techniques. This comprehensive overview aims to equip practitioners with the knowledge to perform and optimize these interventions, enhancing the quality of life for patients with complex GI disorders.
