Nonvascular Thoracic Interventions

Non-vascular thoracic interventions are frequently performed in IR procedures. The various non-vascular thoracic interventions include various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as pleural fluid tapping, biopsy, drainage and ablation. USG and CT guidance are helpful for safe and accurate access and catheter placements for drainage. This chapter will discuss about the drainages, FNAC/biopsy and ablation.
